During this workshop you get structure and a mindset that will help you explore whether there’s a real need for the service or product you plan to develop. We help you organize your idea in a way that provides you with a good overview - so you know which aspects you need to work on next.
If you are interested in possibly joining forces with someone else, this workshop is a great opportunity to meet new innovators and gain an understanding of what it means to run and work in a startup.
You’ll get:
- Business Templates - Access and a walkthrough to your own business template.
- A Startup Mindset - An understanding of the basics of validation, in other words, gathering information that can help you better understand the potential of an new idea.
- Actionable next steps - Leave with concrete steps to continue the process.
You will also receive a crash course in lean startup and design thinking, approaches we use that will help you in your ongoing idea development.
SET UP
KICKSTART begins with a 45-minute presentation from us at the Innovation Office, followed by individual work, based on the session's theme. During this time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your ideas with business developers on site. We work under confidentiality.
FOR WHOM
People from Umeå University and SLU who have an idea they want to develop, or are interested in joining a startup. No prior knowledge is required to participate.
